Overview
Shrink is a game created in 96 hours during GMTK Game Jam 2024 themed "Built to Scale". Out of 7,500 games, it ranked 21st place in the Style category and 96th overall, even receiving an honorable mention from Mark Brown - the host of the GMTK Game Jam.
In this charming and casual puzzle game, players step into the role of a penguin therapist, shrinking down to explore the intricate minds of animal patients. Through engaging, thoughtfully designed puzzles, players uncover hidden thoughts, untangle emotional dilemmas, and bring calm and balance to each patient's life, one session at a time.
My Role
2D Character Animation - Implemented character animations in Unity, expanding my experience in cut-out animation, frame-by-frame animation and some Unity Rigging animation.
Concept Art - Contributed to early concept art and character sketches, collaborating with my fellow artists to establish the game’s artistic style.
Technical Art & Optimization - Strengthened skills in Unity’s animation tools, optimized sprite workflows, and ensured seamless animation integration into gameplay.
